Indications
- Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
- Ear, nose and throat infections including otitis media and tonsillitis
- Urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue infections
Dosage & administration
Adults and children over 10 years
250–500 mg every 8 hours
Children 1–10 years
125–250 mg every 8 hours, or as prescribed by weight
Duration
Usually 5–7 days; severe infections may require longer
